(Rallying Patriots) – Sen. Lindsey Graham, along with a sizable group of GOP House members — led by Rep. Maria Salazar — are now promoting a plan to give amnesty to illegal aliens who are currently residing in the United States as crossings at the border continue to explode.
According to Breitbart, during a press conference that took place on Wednesday, Salazar revealed the amnesty plan would provide green cards for illegals who are enrolled and eligible for former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. It would also give work visas to 11 to 22 million illegal aliens here in the U.S.

-Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL)
-Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI)
-Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT)
-Rep. Blake Moore (R-UT)
-Rep. John Curtis (R-UT)
-Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-FL)
-Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA)
-Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY)
“Specifically, the amnesty — dubbed the ‘Dignity Proposal’ — would give legal resident status to anywhere from 1.5 to 3.5 million illegal aliens who are enrolled and eligible for DACA. Eventually, these illegal aliens can apply for green cards and obtain American citizenship,” Breitbart’s report said.
“All other illegal aliens would be eligible under the amnesty to get 10-year work visas so long as they pass a criminal background check, pay taxes, and continue taking an American job. The amnesty states that these illegal aliens will not be eligible for ‘means-tested benefits or entitlements’ and must pay a fine,” it continued.
After illegals hold a visa for 10 years, they would then be able to enter into a five-year program which would include helping them learn English and would provide civics classes to help them secure a green card. Once they have a green card, the are then allowed to apply to become a naturalized citizen.
“They came here as kids,” Graham said, speaking of the many unaccompanied minors who have come to our country. “If you told them to go back to their country, they don’t know where you’re talking about. You’ve had people who have lived here for decades that have worked, hard assimilated into the country, and there’s a place for them under our terms.”
The amnesty program proposed by Salazar includes E-Verify, funding for a “full border infrastructure system,” asylum reform, and better interior immigration enforcement. There’s also a little section that would allow more foreign visa workers into the country to help out on farms and to do seasonal jobs.
Currently, the United States hands out more than 1.2 million green cards to foreign nationals on a yearly basis. A whopping 70 percent of these are given to relatives of naturalized American citizens. Almost 1.4 million foreign nationals are able to secure work visas every year in order to work here.
