(Rallying Patriots) – It turns out Americans really don’t like being forced to do anything, including being “mandated” to inject themselves with experimental vaccines in the name of “public health safety.”
According to a recent poll, nearly three-quarters of Americans say they would not get the COVID-19 vaccines if their employer required it with nearly half saying they would just quit their job if that were the case.
The results of the Washington Post and ABC News poll showed that only 16% of unvaccinated workers would cave to employer demands and get the shots while 35% would seek a medical or religious exemption and 42% said they would quit their job.
However, when asked what their response would be if a medical or religious exemption was not available, 72% of respondents said, in that case, they would quit while 18% would get the shot.
Unfortunately it seems that many of these Americans just might have to soon put their money where their mouth is. A survey of 961 US employers found that by the end of the year 52% of them will have some sort of vaccine requirement in place.
Disturbingly, a Fox News poll done in August showed that 44% of Americans said they would be more likely to shop at a business that requires their employees to either be vaccinated or submit to routine testing while only 24% said they were less likely.
Resistance to employer-mandated vaccines is building all around the country, including in the most progressive of cities and states.
In Seattle, the Seattle Police Department could lose up to 200 officers, in addition to the nearly 300 it’s already lost since last year’s “defund the police” effort, over Democratic Mayor Jenny Durkan’s COVID vaccine mandate for all city employees.
Democrat Governor Jay Inslee has also issued a mandate for all Washington state employees. It has been reported, however, that the resistance to the mandates has been strong especially among state troopers and teachers.
According to an internal poll conducted among the State Patrol Troopers Association between Aug. 9-17, 295 troopers said they would refuse vaccination even if the result was termination from their job.
The poll also found that the vast majority, 449 troopers, do not agree with the mandatory vaccinations while only 19 said they supported it.
In an email from the association to members, it said, “Important questions need to be addressed, including what the agency will look like with a 20-35 percent loss of employees? How will the agency deploy resources to the areas that are most impacted?”
Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, first responders are forming groups to better oppose a new city law requiring all public employees to be vaccinated. One group, called Firefighters 4 Freedom, said in a statement that its goal “is to stop the mandated vaccinations for all City employees as well as the citizens of this great country.”
“We want to bring education and truth to the people without being censored,” the group said.
According to the group’s website they say this is “not a vaccine versus non-vaccine issue, this is not a left versus right political issue.”
“This is a human rights issue,” they assert, “We hope you stand with us, for we believe all members and citizens have the freedom of choice and natural rights. Your body, your choice. My body, my choice.”
If anyone should support the “my body, my choice” argument, you’d think it would be leftists who have routinely used the very same argument to argue for abortion rights for decades. Ironically, it is these very people who are most loudly demanding for vaccine mandates.
The resistance to the vaccine mandates is strong and if you are against forced vaccination, find out how you can get involved. It’s going to take all of us together to end this medical tyranny.
