(Rallying Patriots) – Just one day after President Joe Biden made a declaration that the “most lethal” terrorist threat to the United States is white supremacy, a senior official who works at the Justice Department has revealed that the agency is “actively considering” whether or not to seek a brand new law that would allow prosecutors to file specific charges for plotting and then executing acts of domestic terrorism.
A report from WND says that Brad Wiegmann, a deputy assistant attorney general who works for the DOJ’s national security division, stated during a House hearing held Thursday, “One of the things we’re looking at is would we need new authorities.”
“Reacting to the announcement, noted civil-liberties journalist Glenn Greenwald pointed out opposition to such a law has been raised from across the political spectrum. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is among the opponents,” the report says.
“Arguing for the law, Rep. Matt Cartwright, D-Pa., chairman of the powerful Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Subcommittee, emphasized the need to counter ‘right-wing’ groups,” it continued.
The Biden DOJ is again threatening to seek a new "anti-terrorism" law for its domestic War on Terror, even though opposition "has been voiced from groups spanning the spectrum — from civil liberties advocates to conservatives." @IlhanMN also opposes it.https://t.co/sGqMNfpuva

“This is a cancer on our country,” Cartwright went on to say. “Right-wing extremist attacks and plots have greatly outnumbered those from all other groups combined and caused more deaths as well.”
Matt Palumbo, who writes for The Bongino Report argues that both Islamic and white supremacist terrorism have become exceedingly rare. These two types of terrorism never account for more than 1 percent of all homicides in a single year, with, of course, the exception of 2001.
“The question we’re really wrestling with is: Are there gaps?” Wiegmann went on to say to a House Appropriations subcommittee. “Is there some type of conduct that we can envision that we can’t cover or would it be an otherwise benefit in having something else other than what we’re having now?”
Wiegmann then noted that the Justice Department directed U.S. attorney’s offices all over the country to touch base with headquarters in Washington of any sort of investigation or case related to domestic extremism. This was back in March.
Look, these folks are hunting for something that just isn’t really there. Not to the level that they apparently think anyway. Our nation has done an incredible job of moving beyond systemic racism. We should be celebrating our nation, not tearing it apart with all of this racial division.
